Ketogenic diet for cancer patients must be followed to weaken cancer cells. When evaluating any cancer, regardless of the stage or faction, it is vital to pinpoint the cause. Founder of the American Anti-Cancer Institute (AACI), Bob Wright, adds, “One can of [soda] has enough sugar to shut down 50% of our immune system for a minimum of 4 hours.” When we consume sugar, we are simultaneously shutting off our defenses while pouring gasoline on the fire that is cancer. When we take into account that “50 to 70% of our total immune system cells cannot see cancer … even on our best day,” the notion of adding it to our diet seems even more blasphemous.

A strict Ketogenic Diet for cancer patients, which calls for minimizing carbohydrates and replacing them with healthy fats and moderate amounts of high-quality protein, can offer hope against cancer — both for prevention and treatment.

Meats : Any type, including beef, pork, lamb, chicken, fish and shellfish.

Eggs : Whole eggs including yolks.

Vegetables : Grown above ground including, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, asparagus, zucchini, eggplant , olives, spinach, mushrooms, cucumber, lettuce, avocado, onions, peppers, tomatoes etc.

Dairy : Always select full-fat options like real butter, cream, sour cream, yogurt & high fat cheeses.

Nuts & Seeds : Almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts,macadamia nuts, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds

Roots : Yams, sweet potatoes, carrots, beetroots, turnips, parsnips, etc., once a day.

Fruit : Eat once a day in small amount. Treat fruit as a natural form of candy.

Alcohol : Dry wine, whiskey, brandy, vodka, and cocktails without sugars, once or twice a week.

Dark Chocolate : Above 70% cocoa, preferably just a bit, once or twice a week.

Sugar : Anything containing added sugar, such as soft drinks, candy, juice, sports drinks, chocolate, cakes, buns, pastries, ice cream, and breakfast cereals. Avoid sweeteners as well.

Starch & Grains: : Bread, pasta, potatoes, french fries, potato chips, cereals, porridge, muesll, etc.

Processed Oils: Margarine, cooking oils.

Beer: As they are full of carbs
